Prayers and Wishes in Art

I was watching the Art Sherpa on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsAWG1jVboo
and she shared this prep work step she does with her paintings.  Cinnamon uses a light pencil line and writes out thoughts, prayers and wishes on her canvas before she starts her painting.  This is amazing!  I wish I had thought of this years ago.  Most of us artists already pour so much love into a painting, that this is such a wonderful inclusion into our work.  I know I will be doing this on my next work.  I love this idea!  Thanks Cinnamon Cooney, Art Sherpa, for sharing this beautiful thing with the world.  And thanks for sharing your love of art with us.

Prismacolor Fairy Speedpaint Video

This weeks video is about a tiny fairy done up in Prismacolor pencils.  I used a baby oil to blend the colors.  I love the end cut out!  The baby oil made the colors soft and muted, very different look from using a blender pencil or paint thinner.
I am hoping to start doing subscription boxes, art tutorials and product trials.  Right now I am just getting my Youtube feet wet with these speed paints.  I hope to bring lots more content every Sunday.  Thanks for watching and please subscribe.
